Amid split opinions, New Hampton Parks and Rec to open fall sports registration this week

The New Hampton Parks and Recreation Department sent out a pandemic survey recently to find out how families were feeling towards their children participating in fall activities. The results came back at a 50/50 split; half want to play fall sports as normal and the other half would be open to playing with travel restrictions.

According to Tara Hackman of Parks and Rec, fall registration for soccer, volleyball, and flag football are slated to operate normally – assuming that the virus doesn’t change the situation.

Hackman says there has been a lot of local interest in fall activities.
