Charles Theatre to reopen Friday with a showing of ‘The Jungle Book’ (live action)

Time to get back in front of the silver screen! The Charles Theatre will be reopening officially this Friday for a showing of Jungle Book (live action) at 7 p.m. Masks will be required, though the theatre will be selling masks for $1 a piece for those who forget theirs.

The theatre’s amenities will all be partitioned off with glass – such as the ticket booth and concession area.

According to Manager Karen Youngerman, the theatre is banking-on the fact that new movies are slated to come out in mid-August.

Until then:

Jungle Book from July 31st to August 6th

Footloose from August 7th to August 13th

Bohemian Rhapsody August 14th to August 20th

Youngerman is hoping to get Mulan (live action) on August 21st, which will be the first newer movie released in the theatre in almost half a year.
