‘Celebrate Recovery’ program to start weekly at Bridge Church in Charles City to help people with ‘hurts, habits, and hang-ups’

Some Christian leaders in Floyd County – in conjunction with the Bridge Church in Charles City – are launching their ‘Celebrate Recovery’ program on September 1st. Bruce Carr says the group wants to help anybody in need.

 

The first meeting will be on September 1st starting at  5 p.m. at 912 South Main Street (Bridge Church) and will run until 8 p.m. that night. 

 

The schedule will look like this:

5-5:45 p.m. Meal

6-7 p.m. Large Group Session

7-8 p.m. Small Group Sessions

 

Carr says he has had his own battle with alcohol addition and wants people to know the Bridge Church will be creating a safe and constructive environment for people.

 

After September 1st, the group will be meeting every Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. into the foreseeable future. Those who have any questions prior to the first meeting can call 641-228-3182 for more information.
