New Hampton’s mayor encourages locals to get signed up for broadband services; to be ready by end of fall

In Charles City, the fiber-to-home project is on pause as the city reassesses financing options. In contrast, New Hampton Mayor Bobby Schwickerath is encouraging locals who want the soon-coming broadband services to get signed up because the fiber will soon be fully in the ground.

Schwickerath describes how a resident can easily get signed up for service at www.nhmu.com.

The final portion of fiber is being laid – the telecommunications center is ready to go – mid to late fall New Hampton should have freaky fast internet speeds.
