Floyd County ‘Law Enforcement Center Project’ set to be completed before year’s end

The soon-to-be fully erected Law Enforcement Center in Charles City is speeding towards completion. Floyd County Auditor Gloria Carr says with everything going on, the center is on track for its mid-December completion window.

This last week, cement was poured on the 4th floor of the building to connect the courthouse to the law enforcement center.

Carr says the construction team will not be starting the courthouse side of the project until the law enforcement center is fully operational in mid-January.
