2020 Drive-thru Spookwalk to be held in Charles City on October 29th

The Charles City community lost every single Party in the Park this last summer. The Chamber of Commerce, even with similar circumstances, were not going to allow their most popular Fall event to be axed as well.

Director Mark Wicks has set the date: a drive-thru version of the Spookwalk 2020 event to be held on October 29th.

The event will commence at 5:30 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. – and the plan is to have vehicles enter from North Main by the bridge and slowly drive through.

Before or after the drive-thru, children are being invited to also stop by the local assisted living and nursing home facilities.

Another part of the Spookwalk fun leading up to the event there will be a coloring contest at the preschools and a Candy Jar Guessing Game in the elementary schools. Homes and businesses in town are also being encouraged to decorate for the season and to let Community Revitalization know prior to the 29th to be included in a listing of places for the public to drive by and enjoy.
