Floyd County Auditor says to register to vote in-person on election day you’ll need these two things

Election day in the country – and more specifically Floyd County – is days away. And for those who haven’t yet registered to vote, there is still hope. According to Floyd County Auditor Gloria Carr, pre-registration for voting has hit its deadline but all one has to do to register is go to their polling place on November 3rd and bring two main things.

The first is proof of identity:

And the second is proof of residency:

For those who are already registered to vote and are going to cast their ballots either absentee in-person or on election day itself – one only needs to bring their ID to be eligible to vote.

Carr wants to remind Floyd County residents that the courthouse will be open this coming Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to give people more time to vote.
