Charles City Park and Rec to create community-run ‘pool committee’ who will help make new pool

The Lion’s Field Pool in Charles City was built with a shelf-life of 25 years – and we are well into its 29th year. That is why Park and Recreation Director Tyler Mitchell is starting the process of creating a new one from the ground up.
And to do so, he is building a ‘Pool Committee’ which will be around 8-10 community members who are passionate about bringing a new pool to Charles City.
Mitchell explains what the Park and Rec board is looking for when recruiting people to be on this committee:
In order to join, Mitchell asks you to contact the Park and Rec office at 641-257-1188.
