Gov. Reynolds extends Proclamation of Disaster Emergency another week; makes minor changes

Iowa’s Proclamation of Disaster Emergency is expiring at midnight tomorrow – so Gov. Kim Reynolds held a press conference today to update the state about what the future will hold.

Reynolds declared at this press conference that the proclamation would be extended another week to December 16th with ‘minimal changes’.

For a month now, ‘last call’ at bars in the state have been forced to happen at 10 p.m. – Reynolds extended this rule.

Finally, with Iowa’s hospitalization rate continually decreasing, Reynolds is updating the requirements for elected procedures.
