The 2021 North Iowa Tractor Ride Route Has Been Announced

Mason City, IA – The 14th annual North Iowa Tractor Ride presented by Klapperich Farm Systems and hosted by local radio stations 98.7 Kiss Country, 103.7 The Fox and 95.1 The Bull will be making its way through 3 states during the 3 day ride July 22nd – 24th, 2021.

Headquartered at the Waukon Highschool in Waukon, Iowa. 200 vintage and restored tractors along with their drivers, friends and family will start signing in, receiving their goodie bags, T-shirts, and tractor signage on Thursday afternoon July 22nd before taking part in the evening meal and drivers safety meeting. The ride is sponsored by Klapperich Farm Systems, Garner Grain Equipment, MN-Iowa Electric
Motors and Equipment, Petro Blend, MBT, Stellar Truck and Trailer, Mason City Ford and Chrysler, Corporate Farmer, Mason City Red Power, North Iowa Area Community College, Fox Auction Company, Mason City Powersports and Mary Klaes Photography.

Friday morning, the groups begin rolling out. Groups roll out according to speed with the slowest group leaving first. Morning break will be at the Old East Paint Creek Lutheran Church in the unincorporated community of Dalby, Iowa. From there groups will move on to the Great River Road near LaFayette to Lansing for lunch at “Kee” school. Then the riders will be in for a big treat as they cross the Black Hawk Bridge and touch into Wisconsin, turning around at the boat loading docks and going back across the beautiful bridge across the Mighty Mississippi. From there they go back into Iowa and follow the Great River Road into Eitzen, Minnesota for an afternoon break. From Eitzen, riders will head back to Waukon after experiencing a most spectacular scenic day to be able to explore the area towns on their own. Saturday morning, groups will head South towards Luana and make a pit stop for mid morning break at Swiss Valley Farms just outside of town. Drivers will make their way through Monona and Volney, with a stop in Rossville for lunch before heading back to Waukon to end another beautiful North Iowa Tractor Ride!

“Participants are invited to come early and stay late, there’s always something to do here – this is a beautiful section of Iowa. We’ve utilized this area many times in our 14 years”, says coordinator Jamie Nelson. “The people in this area are always so welcoming and helpful!” Spectators are always welcome to join the riders for lunch, along the route or just to check the tractors at the headquarters in Waukon. Riders must be pre-registered, all ride maps, hotels, camping and applications are available at www.northiowatractorride.com and the ride is limited to the first 200 applications.
