Winneshiek Co. man charged after search warrant uncovers close to two pounds of meth

Ossian, IA – A northeastern Iowa man was arrested after a search warrant turned up close to two pounds of methamphetamine, valued at around $25,000.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office executed the warrant on Thursday of last week at 306 E. Main St. in Ossian.
63-year-old Fred Pa was arrested and charged with felony-controlled substance violation, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and gather where controlled substances are used.
The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests and charges pending.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Winneshiek County Attorney’s Office, the Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office.
