Floyd County Public Health will host a walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinic Tuesday.
Administrator Gail Arjes says the one-time dose, Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available for anyone 18 or older. You do not have to be a Floyd County resident to get vaccinated. There are 100 shots available and those wanting the COVID vaccine can walk-in anytime between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
This is the first time Floyd County Public Health has been able to offer a Johnson & Johnson vaccination clinic. Call 641-257-6111 with any questions.
As of May 9th, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID vaccination dashboard shows 35% of the county’s population age 16 and older has been fully vaccinated with 72% of those 65 and older fully vaccinated and 45% of those age 18 and older fully vaccinated.
