An exhibit idea spawned in 2019 is now on display in New Hampton.
Irene Frantzen with the Carnegie Cultural Center says their exhibit, “Cheer to Craft Beers, ” was planned for last year, but was postponed due to COVID-19. The exhibit , now on display through July 1st, takes a look at the history of beer, what goes into a craft brew, and the rising popularity of craft breweries in Northeast Iowa and will be highlighted with a special reception this Sunday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Frantzen says the brewers will be offering samples, but attendees must be 21 or older to participate in the tasting. The event is free and open to the public. You can find a link to more information in this story on our station website.
