Charles City Public Library Continues Towards Normal Operations

COVID restrictions continue to ease at the Charles City Public Library.

Book clubs and story times are back to in-person sessions with virtual participation also available as well as their lobby pickup service. The library is open to browsing and computer use and Patron Services Librarian Kamryn Kronschnabel says visitors shouldn’t have any problem coming in whenever they want, despite one restriction still in place.

Library hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Meeting room reservations are also no longer limited to library hours and available for in-person, virtual or hybrid meetings. Digital services including e-books, audiobooks, movie streaming, and databases continue to be available virtually from home
