Charles City School Board Meets Tonight (06.28) to Change Graduation Weekend

Changing the weekend for high school graduation is slated for a public hearing at tonight’s (06.28) regular meeting of the Charles City School Board.

Superintendent Mike Fisher told the board during their June 14th session that the consensus is to move graduation up a week next spring.

The board is expected to approve the school calendar change to schedule 2022 graduation ceremonies next spring to May 22nd.

Approval of school fees for the 2021-22 school year, with no change or increase for most fees, is also anticipated during the meeting tonight at 6:15 p.m. at the high school. The meeting can also be viewed on the district’s Facebook page
