Probation for Man Charged with Sex Crimes in Floyd County As a Teen
A north Iowa man accused of sex crimes almost 10 years when he was a teen has plea bargained to reduced charges.
Court documents show Aaron Wells of Mason City, now 25-years-old, was accused of sexually abusing two children under the age of 10 when he lived in Floyd County between January 2012 and July 2013. Wells would’ve been 16-to-17-years-old when the crimes were committed..
Wells has been sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to register as a sex offender after he pleaded guilty to two counts of lascivious acts with a child. With his plea deal, two counts of second-degree sex abuse were dismissed.
