New Hampton Schools to Return in Normal Fashion

Expect COVID restrictions to be at a bare minimum when the New Hampton School District opens the new school year.

Superintendent Jay Jurrens told the School Board Monday night the current “return to learn” plan is with a normal approach.

Jurrens says they’ll provide additional masks and/or cleaning supplies for teachers who request them with their top priority of making the teachers feel comfortable.

Jurrens says drinking fountains will remain off in district buildings to start the school year, but they’ll add more bottle filling stations for students and staff to access water.
