A north Iowa man is facing two dozen counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says 66-year-old Lawrence Eldon Reiling of Wadena was arrested Wednesday after a week-long investigation. During a search of Reiling’s home, investigators seized electronic devices and had them forensically downloaded, finding visually depicting images of minors in prohibited sexual acts. Reiling has been charged with 24 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Reiling is being held in the Fayette County Jail on a $10,000.00 cash bond. Each count is a serious misdemeanor and if convicted, he could face jail time and be required to register on the state sex offender registry.
Sheriff Marty Fisher states the investigation is ongoing and more charges could result against Reiling.
