The number of patrons visiting the Floyd County Historical Museum in Charles City last year was extremely limited due to the pandemic, but with COVID-19 restrictions now relaxed, Director Jennifer Thiele says they’ve seen a resurgence in visitors.
The museum also expects to be buzzing with patrons during Heritage Fest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday (07.31).
Thiele adds there will be a pie judging contest at 11 a.m. and a cookie judging contest at 1 p.m. She also asks attendees to park in the St. John’s Church parking lot to make street parking near the museum available to those who are mobility impaired.
