A benefit dinner and auction for a recent Charles City grad in a medically-induced coma is tonight (08.20).
Carly Stevenson has been hospitalized for over a month after collapsing from blood clots in her lungs and heart. “Carly’s Fight” benefit at the Charles City Middle School includes a dinner served from 5 to 7 p.m. with the auction conducted by Lee’s Auctioneering Services of Charles City at 7. All proceeds go to help the family with medical expenses.
“Carly’s Fight” wristbands will also be sold at Theisen’s in Charles City Saturday (08.21) morning starting at 10 a.m. Family friend Stacey Clarke is organizing the sale of the purple, silicone wristbands for $3 each. All proceeds also go to Carly’s family.
