North Iowa COVID Positive Tests for Week Reported Aug. 18

According to the Iowa Department of Public Health coronavirus dashboard for the seven-day period reported on Wednesday, August 18th, Floyd County had 17 positive COVID tests.

That translates to a 10% positivity rate for the county for the week, the highest in the immediate area. However, several counties in the region had higher numbers of residents testing positive for COVID. Bremer County had 18, Butler County 25, Fayette County 28 and Cerro Gordo 38 positive COVID tests.

Mitchell and Howard County each had five, Worth County had seven, Winneshiek County 14, and Franklin County 15 positive COVID tests for the seven-day period reported on August 18th.
