A juvenile female suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle rollover just west of Floyd early Friday afternoon.
The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office says the wreck occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. near mile marker 207 along Highway 27. The teen was driving a 2008 Volkswagen Bug westbound when the vehicle drifted off onto the shoulder, causing her to lose control of the car, which then rolled multiple times before coming to rest in the ditch.
The teen was transported by AMR Ambulance to Floyd County Medical center in Charles City for treatment of minor injuries. A male passenger was uninjured. No names were released.
The Floyd Fire Department and Floyd First responders also assisted at the scene.
