Three people were arrested over the weekend in Fayette County on various drug-related charges.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says they executed a search warrant on a building and apartments on Main Street in Arlington at approximately 10 p.m. Saturday. Authorities found and seized drug paraphernalia and illegal substances including, methamphetamine and marijuana.
The investigation led to the arrests of 62-year-old Daniel Guyer, 53-year-old Kimberly Eckhardt, and 52-year-old Jeffrey Keppler, all of Arlington, on charges of possession of a controlled substance, third offense methamphetamine; and gathering where controlled substances are used-methamphetamine, all Class D Felonies; plus, possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Guyer and Eckhardt were also charged with possession of a controlled substance, third offense marijuana; a Class D felony.
The Iowa State Patrol and West Union Police Department K-9 Unit also assisted in the investigation..
