26th Annual Spookwalk Monday in Charles City

Over 1,200 kids are expected for the 26th Annual Main Street Charles City Spookwalk Monday evening.

Event organizer Joanna Thompson says kids are invited to wear their Hallloween costumes while walking along the Riverfront Recreational Trail, which will feature decorated displays by participating vendors.

Thompson says this year’s displays will be based on the theme “Storybooks Come to Life.”

Kids accompanied by an adult can take the Charles City Spookwalk behind the Charles City Public Library and Immaculate Conception Church from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening. The forecast calls for mostly cloudy with cool temps around 45 degrees.
