Rural Floyd County Contested Race Results include:

In the race for two seats on the Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock School Board, Justin Abell received the most votes of the five candidates with 213. He’ll be joined on the board by Tammie Hirv who had the second most votes with 189.

In the race for two at-large seats on the Rockford City Council, winners were Jerome Schlader with 150 votes and Sharon Enabnit with 137.

Andrew Hicok and Steven Bailey were the top two vote getters to earn at-large seats on the Nora Springs City Council.

For the three at-large seats on the Marble Rock City Council, Tracy Merfeld was the top vote getter with 53 followed by Todd Schriever with 46.  Who finished third is to be determined. John Marzen was on the ballot and received 28 votes, but write-in votes totalled 29. Who received the write-in ballots was not known at the time the polls closed.
