New Hampton Fire Department Picks Up A Second $5,000 Donation

The New Hampton Fire Department (NHFD) has received another $5,000 donation towards the purchase of new thermal imaging cameras.

In a Facebook post Thursday, the department thanked Rausch Brothers Trucking for their charitable donation this holiday season. The contribution will help the NHFD complete and order their new thermal imagers.

The Rausch Brothers’ $5,000 donation came one week after the Mark and Kris Kramer Foundation presented its own $5,000 check to the New Hampton Firefighters Association, which, at that time, put them at 50% of their funding goal for the project.

The Mark and Kris Kramer Foundation also recently donated $2,500 to The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit. Consisting of Duke and his handler, Deputy Stephen Johnson, the K-9 Unit is funded solely by donations and no tax dollars are used to support its operation.

The Kramers also recently made a contribution of $2,500 to the New Hampton Police Department which will be used for training and updating equipment.
