Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Charles City this week begins a two-day preschool program for three-year-olds.
Director Jody Osier says the program marks the first time they’ve been able to offer the preschool option to parents mid-school year.
Osier says in addition to the child being three by January 15th, they must also be potty trained to enroll in the less-structured-than-normal preschool program.
Osier adds that because of the holidays, if parents can’t start their child in the program this week, they can start next week. She says parents are also welcome to give their child a trial run in the program if you’re unsure if your child is ready for preschool,
