The Little Light of Mine Holiday Lighting Project just wrapped up its fifth year at Mikkelson Park in New Hampton.
This year’s event featured sponsor displays lit nightly from November 26th through New Year’s Eve. Coordinator and founder Lisa Pool says they’ll welcome all the help they can get to store away displays until next November.
Pool started the light display to honor her son, Kamryn, who was killed in an auto accident in 2016. She says he would be honored to see how the Little Light of Mine has been embraced by the community.
According the Little Light of Mine Facebook page, park clean up is scheduled for this Saturday, January 8th, weather permitting.
