An online survey to help determine the future hours of operation for the New Hampton Public Library ends today (01.14).
Library Director Carrie Becker says they’re asking for public input on whether the current hours should remain the same or be altered given that in-library patronage has been reduced by the pandemic. At the same time, Becker says there’s been an increase in people accessing the library outside of regular business hours.
Becker says curbside checkout of materials during regular hours is also still available and, for those who do come into the library, the staff continues their efforts to keep patrons safe in the COVID era.
Becker says the hours of operation survey is available online through January 14th with a link on the library website and its Facebook page. Paper surveys are also available at the library, City Hall and the park-rec office.
