Phones Operational Again for Howard County Courthouse, Sheriff’s Office

After an outage that lasted two days, the phones are working again at the Howard County Courthouse and the Howard County Sheriff’s Office.

The phone system went down Sunday afternoon knocking out the business lines to the Cresco Police Department as well.

Sheriff Tim Beckman said Monday a part to repair the phone system was ordered and repair crews were able to restore phone service shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The phone outage did not affect 911 services.
