Mental Illness Program Tuesday at Charles City NIACC Center

The Charles City Community Schools Student Services Team is hosting a National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) “Ending the Silence” program at the Charles City NIACC Center on Tuesday.
Storyteller presenters will share their personal stories and information about mental health, which Charles City Elementary School Counselor Michell Dohlman says can be very helpful to teachers and parents dealing with a student who may be struggling emotionally.
In addition to the presenters at the Floyd County MindUp/NAMI conference, there will also be a question and answer session.
The conference starts at 9 a.m. Tuesday and attendance can be in person or virtual. To RSVP or for more information, contact Dohlman at Lincoln Elementary School in Charles City. Details are available in this story on our station website.
Please make a plan to attend in person or virtually. RSVP to Michelle Dohlman ( mdohlma@charlescityschools.org) Elementary School Counselor if you would like to attend. Include your name, email address, and cell number.
