Charles City Community Schools High School Master Plan – Community Survey

Charles City Community Schools is seeking the public’s help in the process of evaluating the district’s high school facilities and creating a long-term facilities master plan.
Officials want input and feedback for the “High School Master Plan-Community Survey.” Questions ask for opinions on district-wide school facilities as well as the current high school facilities; various aspects of facilities both inside and out, from structural features to heating and air conditioning; plus, costs versus value, how facilities play a role in students’ learning; as well as safety and security.
Survey respondents are also asked to rate the importance of student dropoff and pickup accessibility, adequate parking, location, and future growth among other factors.
The survey is anonymous and takes a few minutes to complete. The Board of Education and district leadership will use the feedback provided to inform next steps in this important process for the future of Charles City Schools. The end date for the survey is not specified on the school website or in the survey itself.
