
The anticipated resignation of Mike Fisher as Superintendent of Charles City Schools became official at Monday night’s School Board meeting.
Fisher is leaving Charles City to become Superintendent in his hometown of Oskaloosa.
Board President Pat Rottinghaus read Fisher’s resignation letter.
Fisher added that he and his wife, Sara, and son, Josh, are thankful for the opportunity with Charles City Schools.
Fisher’s resignation is effective June 30th. He has been Charles City Schools superintendent since 2018.
The Oskaloosa School Board officially announced Fisher’s hire Tuesday. He will start there on July 1st.
