The public is invited to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the Irish Party hosted this Thursday at the Chickasaw Event Center.
Lynn Schwickerath is the President of the event center, which also serves as the New Hampton Senior Center, operated by the Chickasaw County Council on Aging. He says proceeds from the Irish Party are targeted for senior center improvements.
Tickets for Thursday’s event are $8 including a meal of Irish stew, plus music and fun from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with dine-in or to-go meals options.
Schwickerath says they’ll also welcome donations for their Chickasaw Chassis transit bus.
Schwickerath says they’re also bringing back their popular bus trips.
