Road work on U.S. Highway 52 in Winneshiek County is slated to begin this Monday.
The Iowa DOT New Hampton construction office says crews will be resurfacing the highway with a hot-mix asphalt within the city limits of both Ossian and Castalia and will require intermittent lane closures with pilot cars used to control traffic. Weather permitting, the project will run from Monday, April 4th until early September.
The DOT says occasional side street closures may also occur and access to businesses will be maintained during the project.
