It’s National Library Week and area public libraries are offering a variety of activities for all ages.
New Hampton Library Director Carrie Becker says the theme for the week is “Connect with Your Library.”
In addition to in-house activities, Becker says NHPL will also feature trivia questions on their Facebook page for a chance at prizes.
Charles City Patron Services Librarian Kamryn Kronschnabel says they’ll host “LEGO Night” Tuesday pitting the kids against the adults.
Kronschnabel adds that everyone who checks out a book this week will be entered into prize drawings next Monday.
Jackie Cush, Director of the Upham Memorial Library in Fredericksburg, says their celebration this week includes “Books in a Basket.”
Cush says the baskets are available for viewing on their Facebook page and in the library with the silent auction ending Saturday.
