Application Deadline Thursday (04.07) for Howard-Winneshiek Superintendent Position

Today (04.07) is the deadline for applications to be submitted by candidates seeking to become the new superintendent of the Howard-Winneshiek School District.

Current Superintendent Ted Ihns will be leaving Cresco to become  Superintendent for the Indianola School District starting July 1st.

School Board President Alison Holten says after today’s application deadline passes, they will next allow community members within the school district to weigh in on qualifications for their new superintendent.

The Howard-Winneshiek School District is working with the search firm, McPherson and Jacobson, based in Omaha, Nebraska, to find the replacement for Ihns, who’s been the Superintendent since 2017.
