City of New Hampton to Hurry Up and Wait for New Vehicles

Like many municipalities, the City of New Hampton will take a “hurry up and wait” approach to purchasing new vehicles for the police and public works departments.

Mayor Bobby Schiwckerath says supply chain issues could delay shipment of the vehicles by several months.

Schwickerath adds that it could be 2023 before the new squad car for the police department arrives.
