Country Artist Terri Clark to Headline Corn Country Fest in Waterloo 

Corn Country Fest, Waterloo’s biggest country music festival, will feature a full day of live music, food, drinks and fun activities Saturday, July 9, at the National Cattle Congress Fairgrounds. 

The inaugural event, presented by Veridian Credit Union and Coloff Media’s 106.5 Corn Country, features country artist Terri Clark, the only Canadian female member of the legendary Grand Ole Opry. 

Clark has sold over 5 million albums and produced hit singles such as “Better Things To Do,” “Poor Poor Pitiful Me,” and “Girls Lie Too.”

Local and regional bands, Adam Keith and Wildcard, will also perform. Additional festivities include a mechanical bull, inflatable axe throwing, and other games, with many of the proceeds benefiting the Waterloo charity, Americans for Independent Living. A military salute is also being planned. 

Gates open July 9th at 3:30 p.m., with the first band taking stage at 3:45 p.m. and Terri Clark performing at 9:30 p.m. Tickets will be available online on April 29th at CornCountryFest.com and NationalCattleCongress.com.

Corn Country Fest is Waterloo’s biggest country music festival and will feature a full day of live music, food, drinks and other fun activities. The event is slated for Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the National Cattle Congress Fairgrounds in Waterloo. 

The inaugural event is presented by Veridian Credit Union and Coloff Media’s 106.5 Corn Country. 

The event will feature country artist Terri Clark. Hailing from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, Terri Clark is a 3-time JUNO Award winner and holds the honor of being the only Canadian female member of the legendary Grand 

Ole Opry. With over 5 million albums sold, hit singles such as “Better Things To Do,” “Poor Poor Pitiful Me,” “Girls Lie Too,” “Northern Girl,” and “I Just Wanna Be Mad,” a slew of awards and sold out audiences on both sides of the border, Terri has solidified her place in the history books of country music. In 2021 she released a cover of the Holly Williams song “The Highway.”

In addition to Terri Clark, local and regional bands Adam Keith and Wildcard will add to this fun day of country music. Attendees will also enjoy a mechanical bull, inflatable axe throwing, and other games, with many of the proceeds benefiting Waterloo charity Americans for Independent Living. A military salute is also being planned. Food and beer will be served throughout the day.

Discounted tickets for all military personnel (active and Veteran) available for $15 at the gate with valid Military ID. Limited VIP tickets are also available online for $55 and includes access to VIP seating with table and chair plus two beverages. (Convenience fees apply to all tickets.)
