Latest fundraiser by the Friends of MercyOne New Hampton Medical Center hurts, in a tasty way.
The hospital’s auxiliary is working with Hurts Donuts of Cedar Falls to take orders by today (Thursday, May 19), for one dozen custom donuts for $25. MercyOne New Hampton’s Jenny Monteith says it serves as another fundraiser for Friends’ projects.
Monteith notes recent projects include renovating the hospital’s physical therapy rooms and the addition of two new recliner lift-chairs for patients recovering from knee surgery.

Monteith says donuts will be available for pick-up from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. in New Hampton, Lawler or Fredericksburg on Friday, June 3rd, which is National Donut Day.
