Inaugural Bob Svec Memorial Tractor Ride Sunday (06.12)
The inaugural “Bob Svec Memorial Tractor Ride” is set to trek throughout Chickasaw County this Sunday June 12th.
Quentin Reicks with the New Hampton Chapter of FFA says the ride will honor former 95.1 The Bull morning show host and avid FFA supporter, Bob Svec, who passed away May 31st of 2021.
Reicks says they’re still welcoming more participants.
The tractor ride will start Sunday morning with breakfast at Airport Lake then travel to Nashua for lunch followed by a trek into New Hampton before returning to Airport Lake.

Proceeds from the event benefit the New Hampton FFA, per the Svec family’s wishes.
The tractor ride was originally planned for last September, but due to flooding in late August, organizers postponed it to allow county maintenance crews to concentrate on repairing roads damaged by the floods.
