The Foster Grandparents Program has provided vital help to childcare centers in Charles City, New Hampton and Fredericksburg for decades.
Program Director Jennifer Lantz says they’re also looking to expand their presence.
Lantz adds that they’re also looking for more people to become foster grandparents. Those interested must be over 55 and pass a background check. Lantz also notes that current foster grandparents are getting a raise effective July 1.
