“Hero Night” at Party in the Park Friday Night in Charles City

Main Street Charles City is calling all heroes to Central Park tonight (07.01)

It’s “Hero Night” for tonight’s Party in the Park 5 to 9 p.m. tonight with First Security Bank & Trust offering Hero Stations to allow kids to make their own masks and capes. The Charles City Fire Department will also have a “Water Curtain” to play in and keep cool.

The live cover band, Chocolate Crackers, is tonight’s musical act. There’s also food and beverage vendors, a beer garden, outdoor games and activities. Tokens will be required to purchase food, beverages and some kid’s activities. Leftover tokens can still be used for the final Party in the Park on August 12th.

While tonight’s festivities are part of the “Party in the Heartland” Fourth of July weekend celebration in Charles City, tokens can not be used at the activities in Central Park this Sunday and Monday. Cash or debit cards will be needed to make purchases those two days.
