RAGBRAI Riders Likely to Begin Exodus from Charles City Early the Next Day

Charles City is bracing for the largest one day contingency of RAGBRAI riders when some 18,000 bicyclists come to town Thursday, July 28th, thanks to the shortest leg of this years route from Mason City to Charles City.

Charles City RAGBRAI hospitality chair Phoebe Pittman says they’re still looking for most hosts to accommodate riders for their overnight stop.

Pittman adds that you might not have to host riders for too long into Friday morning on July 29th.
