Thursday to be a Historic for RAGBRAI in Charles City

Thursday will mark the sixth time Charles City has hosted an overnight RAGBRAI stop.

While that doesn’t qualify as the most times a city has hosted riders overnight, Charles City RAGBRAI Hospitality Chair Phoebe Pittman says it will be a “historic” occasion nonetheless.

Charles City has the most overnight RAGBRAI experience on this year’s route, having also hosted overnight stops in 1982, 1996, 2002, 2010 and 2017.

According to the Wikipedia page, List of Overnight RAGBRAI Stops, Atlantic has hosted riders the most times with seven.
