U.S. Cellular Brings in Reinforcements for RAGBRAI in Charles City

U.S. Cellular is bringing in reinforcements for customers when RAGBRAI comes to Charles City.

U.S. Cellular has brought in a Cell on Light Truck, also referred to as a COLT, to increase wireless capacity this week as Charles City prepares for the influx of visitors for RAGBRAI’s overnight stop Thursday.

The COLT is located in the North Iowa Area Community College parking lot along Brantingham Street. The temporary site is expected to provide added network capacity for the increased data usage and to support the large volume of additional phone calls and texts from cyclists as well as all regular U.S. Cellular customers in Charles City.
