The New Horizons Chamber in New Hampton is under new leadership of a recent Chickasaw graduate.
A Class of 2014 alum, Liz Zweibohmer took over the post on August 29th. She says her internship at the Grinnell Chamber of Commerce while attending college at Iowa State gave her a taste of the industry.
Before her recent return to her hometown, Zweibohmer says she added to her retail experience while working at Wartburg College.
Zweibohmer says she looks forward to enhancing previous chamber promotions while also putting her own ideas into action.
She also notes that, other than a few boxes to sift through, New Horizons has made the move into their new location at 104 East Main Street in New Hampton, which previously housed ISU Chickasaw County Extension.
