“Back in Orange and Black” is the theme for this year’s Homecoming Week in the Charles City School District.
Kim Scott is one of the organizers for festivities and says fans can show their Comet pride starting Sunday night.
The pep rally will start at 7:30 p.m. Sunday night. Dress-up days start Monday at the High School, Middle School and Lincoln and Washington Elementary schools.
The Homecoming football Friday night, September 23rd has the Comets hosting Hampton-Dumont-Cal, with the dance to follow at the High School.
The Charles City Homecoming Court includes queen candidates Ava Ellis, Olivia Litterer, Hailey Kowalski, Nora Hruska, Harper McInroy. King candidates are Drew Martin, Nathan Lopez, Zachary Chambers, Anders Haglund, Kayden Blunt.
