Oelwein Trio Face Multitude of Drug Charges After Weekend Arrests

A trio of suspects from Oelwein are facing a multitude of drug charges following their weekend arrests.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says a search warrant executed Saturday night about 10 p.m. in the 100 block of 7th Avenue Northwest led to the arrests of 62-year-old Jeff Euans; 36-year-old Anthony Marrah and 39-year-old Jade Nuehring. During a search of the residence illegal substances were found and seized including methamphetamine, marijuana, pills, and other unidentified substances, plus a large amount of US currency.  

Euans was charged with intent to deliver methamphetamine and ongoing criminal conduct, both Class B felonies; two counts of intent to deliver other schedule drug I,II,III, all Class C Felonies; and at least eight Class D felony drug-related charges; plus various aggravated and simple misdemeanor charges.

Marrah and Nuehring were both charged with possession of a controlled substance 3rd offense methamphetamine and gathering where controlled substances are being used-methamphetamine, both Class D Felonies; and simple misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Marrah was also charged with Obstruction. 

The Iowa State Patrol, Oelwein Police Department, and Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office and Canine Unit assisted in the investigation and search of the residence, at which Fayette County Sheriff Marty Fisher reported is the third search warrant his department has executed since 2021.
