Juveniles Cause Disturbance at Charles Theatre, Attendance Policy to Change
A recurring problem reared its head again Monday night at The Charles Theatre in Charles City.
CCPD say they responded to the 400 block of North Main Street for a report of several juveniles causing a disturbance by throwing popcorn and drinks in the theatre. The juveniles were identified and their parents were made aware of the incident.
A Charles Theatre Facebook post dated September 16th reads, “All Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian effective October 1st;” which is this Saturday.
Like many other theatres, The Charles has been dealing with a rise in unruly behavior by adolescent movie goers since the summer.
